My name is Christian Villar and I am currently a student At Northeastern Illinois University working toward a bachelors degree in Physical Education and a minor in Health Education.  I was born and raised in the north side of Chicago in Rogers Park.  I love to play sports and be introduced to games and activities that are new to me.    I have been working at Lifetime Fitness since 2004 teaching swim lessons to children and adults.  After I graduated from Von Steuben High School, I attended Oakton Community college to complete my gen eds.  After Oakton Community college, I attended Illinois State University for a year majoring in business administration.  I realized that business was not the best fit for me, so I decided to transfer to Northeastern Illinois University to pursue a career as a Physical Education Teacher since I love sports and interacting with children.
